OILFIELD SERVICES

The oilfield services sector provides the infrastructure, equipment, intellectual property, and services needed by the upstream, midstream, and downstream oil and gas industry to explore for, extract, and transport crude oil and natural gas.  Companies in the oilfield services sector are impacted by shifts in oil and gas prices due primarily to the direct impact on drilling activity and production. Technology also plays a major role in the sector as less conventional sources of exploration and production rely on more advanced technology to extract natural resources.  BVA professionals have a deep understanding of the issues faced by participants in the oilfield services sector, enabling us to provide our clients with insightful and efficient consulting regarding valuation, economic damages, and various corporate finance issues.
