Mark Phillips is responsible for executing a variety of engagements related to valuation and other financial advisory service engagements.  These engagements span employee stock ownership plans, transaction advisory purposes including fairness opinions, valuations involving complex capital structures as well as earnouts and other contingent consideration, valuation opinions for tax (including corporate and gift and estate), and financial reporting (with a focus on “fair value” accounting for purchase price allocations).  Mr. Phillips has served clients in a variety of industries, including engineering, construction, architecture, manufacturing, oil field services, transportation, home services, telecommunications, banking, and private equity.

Mark Phillips graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with high honors and received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and a minor in Management Information Systems.  Mr. Phillips returned to BVA following a summer internship in 2022.
