Gabriel Hicks is responsible for executing and overseeing economic and statistical analyses on a variety of complex economic and financial litigation.  His experience spans antitrust, securities, and cryptocurrency-related litigation, as well as other disputes involving capital markets and alleged financial misconduct.

Mr. Hicks has extensive experience designing and executing empirical analyses, including event studies, regression-based analyses, financial forecasting, cash flow modeling and loan level analyses of residential mortgage-backed securities.  His work also encompasses market efficiency assessments and other class-wide impact analyses.  Mr. Hicks plays a central role in managing analytical workstreams while collaborating closely with testifying experts and counsel through all phases of litigation.

Mr. Hicks holds a Master of Science in Applied Economics from Marquette University, where he also earned Bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Political Science, graduating Magna Cum Laude.  Prior to joining BVA Group, he served as a senior research analyst at an economic consulting firm in Washington, DC.
