BVA Group joined Communities Foundation of Texas for its 17th annual Freedom Day, a series of community service events honoring the lives lost and forever changed by the tragic events of September 11, 2001. In recognition of the courage and bravery of the men and women who fight for our freedom, and those first responders who protect us, this day of service supported local organizations that provide essential services to veterans, their families, and first responders.

Representatives from Carry the Load provided a tour of the DFW National Cemetery, discussing its significance and the stories of many who have been laid to rest there. Following the tour, Team BVA cleaned headstones and assisted with property clean-up. The experience was humbling and rewarding.
